David set up the company together with his wife in 1980 and is now joined in running the business by his son Bradley, who is in charge of Operations, and more recently his daughter Rachel, who manages the Sales and Marketing activities for Avanti.
Bradley came to work for the family business having completed a degree in Business Studies, and oversees the day-to-day operations of Avanti. Bradley manages the whole Supply Chain process from procurement to distribution to the end customer and ensures that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Rachel (Hunt) Connor
Sales and Marketing
Having graduated from university with a degree in Spanish and Italian, Rachel went on to work for a global food ingredients company, in Supply Chain and then Purchasing. After 7 years, she left to join Avanti, where she heads up Sales and Marketing.
Mary has a wealth of experience in the cleaning industry having been involved in supplying cleaning and hygiene products for 23 years. Mary has been with Avanti for 5 years supporting the company’s continuous growth by maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new customers and seeking new business opportunities.
Nicola is our newest staff member and a fantastic addition to our team, bringing years of experience. Nicola has a strong background in Customer Care having worked for 10 years for a pet food manufacturer in a Customer Service role.
